I too, am worth it
I am the different person They send me under their feet When friends are around But I laugh And don't listen And rise above it Tomorrow I'll walk with them When friends are around No one is going to put me down Say to me "You're not worth it." Then. Besides, They'll see how capable and amazing I am And regret putting me down I too, am worth it

This is my artifact for the TLP project. A universal theme explored through the chapter is relationships and in this chapter things change over time and everything contributes to this change.
Rene Descartes views existence as an irrefutable truth because we have the ability to think, therefore we are real. Bob (the person above) thinks/perceives which is an irrefutable truth. Authority, culture, and tradition affect how Bob perceives the image. The image/perception can be a variety of things such as a cloud, cotton candy, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, or stuffing. Authority, tradition, and culture influence Bob to see something one specific way instead of his imagination deciding what it is. The perception is doubtable and authority, tradition, and culture may influence what, to them, is true and what is not. To conclude, perceiving is an irrefutable truth and the perception is doubtable
Lupita and I made an abstraction ladder about ourselves and structure/systems. Our art piece sybolized structure/systems. Like everything or everyone, a structure and system need a base or starting point. The brown was made first and is the foundation of the structure/ pattern. There are different levels, or designs after the base and its systemic due to the repeating pattern.

"I think, therefore I am" - Rene Descartes
To me this quote states that you are yourself and who you think who you are. People can be saying inconsiderate things about you or call you names but only you know yourself. Not a single person or thing can know everything about you, how you feel, and what you think. Only you can give yourself your own title or name and only you know how you feel, what you think, and your true self. To me this is also empowering for everyone because it makes you see that you can reach your own potential and maybe even set goals higher that you imagined. Don't let people bring you down because you are you, I am myself, and everyone else is themselves. |
