Today I learned about different things happening all around the country and a bit of the world. I learned about how these events cause people to do certain things such as protest or stand up in other ways to show their concern. News Literacy is asking questions and getting answers from different people with all sorts of different points of view. Newspapers play a role in democracy because they give government an idea of what we as a society would like and what we would not. Our role in terms of the news are witnesses of what we see, hear, or know in general.
